With February over and done, we thought you might be wondering how successful each of the Sisters were in completing their individual challenges. While the Sisterhood is all about female empowerment, Big, Middle and Little Sis also believe that a little bit of healthy competition among sisters is not a bad thing and decided to declare a challenge winner. Unfortunately, Wayne Gretzky was unavailable for comment so the Sisterhood was forced to dig deep and solve the dilemma on their own. Read on to see how this "terrific trio" managed to resolve their quandary in a fair and reasonable manner, and who was ultimately declared the obvious winner.

Big, Middle and Little Sis are all getting up there in age and have recently had some interesting experiences in the health department, as is wont to happen when you are firmly ensconced in the senior citizen category (Well, maybe Little Sis isn't firmly ensconced yet, but she definitely has one foot in). Realizing that they are not unique in this, they decided to share their experiences in the hope of providing guidance and encouragement to those who might find themselves similarly afflicted.

As we settle into 2024, the Sisterhood thought now might be a good time to answer the famous question posed by hockey icon Wayne Gretzky, "you want a challenge don't you?" So after much soul searching and deciding, as good Canadian hockey fans, they could not say no to Wayne Gretzky, the Sisterhood decided to embark on a 30 day challenge. Well, it's actually a 29 day challenge as we chose February of a leap year to do it, but I don't think Wayne will mind.😂

We are in that time between cozying up by the fireplace to keep warm, and hanging out at the beach to soak up some Vitamin D. While we wait for the thermometer to rise, watching movies seems to be on the Sisterhood’s agenda. Little Sis has an encyclopedic memory when it comes to rock and roll music. She can recall the name of just about any song and the artist who sings it. A recent round of musical trivia reminded Big and Middle Sis of this talent and led to the discovery that, although they are related, their tastes in music couldn't be any more different.

It is well known that the Sisterhood loves a celebration so, in these last waning days of winter we thought it might be fun to design events that would give us both something to look forward to and be proud of. We are of course not only creative but patriotic, and can definitely see a future where Canadians near and far would enthusiastically celebrate our suggested national holidays.....If only we knew how to take them to the next level😉 But that's a story for another day. Do you ever wonder what would what would happen if the World Wide Web went dark, and for some strange reason you could no longer write with your dominant hand? How on earth would we be able to communicate? No worries, the Sisterhood is here to save the day.

What do three sisters, one in her fifties, one in her sixties and one in her seventies talk about when they get together? All the usual stuff - what new medications we're on, the price of hearing aid batteries, the silly things millennials do, and recently, organizing our "affairs." And after recognizing that we aren't getting any younger, our thoughts naturally turned to what we affectionately refer to as "the green binder", which is where our father had his estate organized right down to the last detail. Its been several years since the green binder has been opened, but its legacy lives on for each sister in a different way.

So here we are in 2023. A year of possibilities stretched out in front of us. Naturally talk among the Sisterhood turned to what we thought the new year would bring and not surprisingly Big, Middle and Little Sis all had different ideas about how the year would shape up and what they plan to focus on.
