On The Road Again

Up, Up And Away
Well its official. We are finally on our way to Montreal for our first 5K walk in three years, and a visit with our brother on the side. The Sisterhood had been training for this, and we could not wait to get our kicks on and start the walk, but we had to get there first which was an adventure in itself. We travelled over four provinces, two time zones, and a language barrier. Let's go girls!

Spring has Sprung
Yup! Spring is finally here. Gone are the cold, rainy and dark days of winter. It really does feel like we are coming out of a dark cocoon into the light, where there is a renewed sense of happiness and optimism. Little Sis here. The Sisterhood, including Biscuit, met for coffee the other day and the discussion turned to some of our favourite Canadian TV shows . The other day Biscuit came to me and requested a cell phone. She said now that she was 11 years old and almost a responsible teenager it was time, and besides all her friends had one. Not being a huge fan of cell phones for teenagers, this threw me for a loop, so I told her I would have to think about it and get back to her. I will admit though it was hard to ignore those puppy dog eyes.

Call me old fashioned, but I actually like to go to the mall, and shop. I know that most people now a days do all their shopping on line, which is something I vowed I would never do. Biscuit here. Not only am I a Doglympian, I am also a foodie. You know, an expert on everything food and drink. Doglympics
The other day Biscuit was looking at the medals Little Sis has received from walking in 5k races and virtual walks with Big and Middle Sis. She got to thinking, if she wants to be a legitimate member of the Sisterhood of the Travelling Shoes, perhaps she should look at doing some sort of athletic event that would give her a medal to contribute to the Sisterhood collection.
